Masks and Victory Gardens?

I'm making masks featuring mustaches because I love to laugh. As I frantically sew to make things that people need to be safe and to give them a giggle the idea of Victory Garden keeps popping into my head. Victory Gardens were kept during WWI and WWII by individuals and in public spaces to supplement limited rations and keep up morale. I learned this from my Grandma when I was little and making masks seems like my Victory Garden. I feel so connected to my family.....Isn't that cool!

If you don't have a mask yet get one, and if you have 1 get a few more so you can wash them regularly. You can get them from me at the seabeastpuppetry Etsy page with or without mustaches.
